#1 they use extended battery (according to our good friend Chkmate, it works with otterbox case)
#2 no OC
#3 no Task Killer
#4 remove/disable apps you don’t use, ie- extra lsunchers, bloatware, etc
#4 let the DX rest- if your screen is on alot, it kills battery, if you use alot of data, it kills battery...

#5 ask Chkmate- he is the BATTERY MASTER

I have a friend that has sent me videos from her blackberry before through text messages and they played fine. Now all I get is the audio. Would any one know why it doesn't work

Data throttle is something which...to my understanding, vzw doesn't really apply, except in certain areas (major cities, etc where large amounts of users take data) or in certain circumstances (if vzw feels you personally need to be throttled- in which case they would have notified you). Basically, if you're being throttled, vzw has put a limit to how much data you can transfer per second...like a throttle on an engine, it's like a speed cap or something...GatesJunior has stated that through extensive testing, he sees little to no benefit to a throttle removal hack, and therefore has not incorporated it into the rom. Some have argued him that they feel a data throttle removal hack would be beneficial, and so he mentioned the possibility of making it an add-on.
