Data connectivity issues

Wish they would push me the 901

Wish they would push me the 901. Any way to get that sooner??

Is it me, or did anyone in this thread read the 901 thread? 901 has solved my data issues.

Not everybody has those issues, and data drops still don't violate the contract no matter how much you guys wish it would.

And if you didn't know that 4G had issues, then shame on you for not educating yourself before committing to a two year contract.

Has personal responsibility completely disappeared in todays society?

First off I knew 4g had issues ...what I didn't know was even with the phone in 3g only the phone would lose data for no reason unpredictability and not be a reliable device for daily use includind sending receiving emails, mms,and navigation ..and I bought my phone cash outright ..you know what assume stands for I'm sure.....

Haha! Yeah I know what it stands for. Have you tried flashing the 901 update? It's been highly successful for alot of people. How getting with Verizon for replacement device? My first bionic wasn't very reliable in CDMA only, but the 2nd device I got has been rock solid. Also, has it just been recently you've been having problems with 3G data? Because verizon has had nationwide issues with their data network for about the last month.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't state anywhere in the contract that you are guaranteed uninterrupted service. Matter of fact, its likely that there is a disclaimer somewhere in there that states uninterrupted service isn't guaranteed.

Well, of course, no company could guarantee service 100% of the time. But if your water, electricity, landline phone, cable, or other utility that you are paying for was out of service as much as some Bionics lose data, you would expect SOME kind of remedy. They should be let out of their contract and their money refunded for their phone, given another phone of equal value THAT WORKS, or something to make things right.

Maybe transfer some money from the advertising budget to the IT/engineering budget? It's quite infuriating to pass a billboard bragging about 4G service when you have no service at all.

Or those users that are frustrated can call VZW and demand that they get credited for the data outages. Which is EXACTLY what the water, electricity, cable, etc providers would do. I've even heard of people getting their entire month credited, which is something the other utility providers will NOT do.
