How's your 3G/4G? Notice any difference in the camera?

Just when I got ready to answer I lost 3g ant back to 1x -- think I should have waited --- but like kids in a candy stote

That's what I'm afraid of. Mine works fine right now - not so sure I want the "new improved" version.

Reboot a few times. In the end I had to reset to defaults. I am 95% back to my pre-update config. I will post again once I see what I got.

Where the heck did you get your update? Is it OTA? I have a RAZR and just checked for an update and says I'm current? Is your phone rooted?...may explain for the impatient download of an update that's not been officially released.

Nevermind...after reading about soak test volunteers. Thanks for posting this and confusing people. Thanks for nothing.

Not sure unrooting is necessary. As long as all your stock apps are in place you should be fine. Even though I don't recommend it, people have updated without thawing apps as well.

Understand your frustration, but just relax; these usually roll out in waves & it's been confirmed on xda that it's being pushed to non-participants of the soak test as well. One downside is you apparently do lose root & may not get it back consistently. Nitro is working on getting a pre- rooted version out now.

I saw the email that Verizon employees got regarding the updated, its going to take until the 23rd for everyone to be updated.

Where is this being discussed and would it help people like me that are slightly screwed because I stupidly uninstalled some built-in apps? I'd gladly wait if I can avoid unrooting and this annoyance.

I'm installing the update as I type this. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I did not volunteer for the soak test.

New boot animation but phone appears stuck at this point.

Boot finished. Waiting for data to connect. This did take awhile when I purchased the phone on Friday.

I'll give it a few before I panic.

build number 6.5.1-73_DHD-11_M1-2

SYSTEM 6.11.748.XT912.VERIZON.EN.US

Were you rooted? If so, did you lose root with the update? Hearing that this OTA breaks root!
