so i backed up my safe side and brought my system back to the .215, now gonna restore my root and safestrap so i can restore my safe side, will let you know what happens, theoretically everything should be perfect..

still having the problems opening and closing my phone, i really dont get it and cannot figure out what started this, it was before i installed ur rom here, i cant remember making any changes :-(

the phone hangs, and its not because of screen rotation cuz when i let it rotate without opening/closing it doesnt hang/freeze, it only hangs/freezes every time i open or close, sometimes screen will go blank for 15 seconds b4 phone responds again, its SO annoying and i have no idea what could have caused it

do a factory reset and reinstall. clear all pics off your phone and dont restore anything

what do you mean clear all pics off of the phone? i am pretty sure all of that stuff is on my sd card cuz erytime ive factory resetted b4 ive never lost it before... any distinct directories i should be making sure are clear? I was gonna reset yesterday but honestly wanted to wait until I heard from you dude..

well ics gallery can cause thrashing due to it trying to make thumbnails all the time in the background. also try the beats removal patch if its still giving you trouble.
any dir with pics like /dcim and /pictures on both on internal and ext mem cards... you can dump em to your pc.

yea my camera roll is FILLLLLLED UP i didnt even realize it, im bluetoothing everything over to my pc now so then i can delete everything... maybe itll make a difference without factory resetting and just doing what im doing, if not ill reset on top of it...

is there an easier way to do this that wont take 6 years? i have way too much stuff to transfer, cant i plug into pc and copy whole directory of camera roll?? :-(

oh yeah one last thing use set cpu or somthing like it to set the governor to hotplug it gives you 3000 on quadrent vs 2000

By the way i had 1 error like that b4 cuz i have 9 gigs of music on my sdcard so when it lagged i just rebooted the phone and looked at the files in music again intill it indexed them and got the album art too. also did it b4 on gingerbread bc i had 1100 wallpapers hahah
bty dont run smart actions or disable data or anything for the first day running it. it needs to index.

yea erasing the pictures from the camera roll didnt fix it and now its getting worse... twice this morning i thought i bricked it and i couldnt get it to respond, can you plz tell me EXACTLY how youd factory reset this and start over as brand new literally on ics leak .217? Is it as simple as redoing everything one more time to .217 without the data save script? and then when i boot ill be on a brand new .217?

If you are running this in safestrap you can just boot to recovery and do a full wipe. Data, cache, dalvik, ect. Then reflash and go from there. If you have had issues from the begining try a fresh download.

Ok so im at the part where i am installing the zip from recovery after flashing the kernal fix and fastboot files and its saying "assert failed: Mount("ext3", "mtd", "system", "/system") e:error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip(status 7) installation aborted"
