Dialer-what's wrong with it?

so if you make or receive a call and press a button by accident and are taken away from the initial caller id screen...

How do you get back?
Or do I need an app?

Are you asking how one gets back to the active call screen when you're on a call, when you have switched to a different screen?

If that's the question, simply pull down your notifications bar at the top of your screen and tap on the active phone call.
