Have you tried it twice? I've had to run various MM's twice every so often to get them to take.
Yeah I've tried tried it four times actually. When I open up metamorph im stupposed to tap "pick existing theme" right? Then I install the .xml file? Then hit apply all? Then it applies and asks if I wanna reboot? Because I did all of that four times and it still doesn't work.
Not sure why it isn't taking, i've had that file work for a bunch of other people, and i haven't touched the file since i uploaded it.
Try unzip/extract new theme again, click replace when it asks, and try that way.

Oh and one more thing. Does that Android Phone 7 layout in your sig work for the Droid X too? It looks pretty cool.
I would just like to say this is the coolest theme I have installed on my x so far. But there are some things that haven't been working that well. I can't get the screen brightness to stick. Il set the screen brightess to 50% and as soon as I turn the screen off and turn it back on I see that it turned the brightness up by itself past what I set it to. Even when I turn it down to like 30% it still won't stick after I turn off the screen. It always goes back to like 75-100. This happens whenever the screen turns off ie. Phone calls. Auto brightness seems to work better but is still really bright when it doesn't need to be. Second thing is that market is having a hard time installing and updating apps. It'll say download starting/updating but it doesn't actually do it. I would have to initiate it at least once more for it to work. Gonna install the market update tmrw to see if it helps. Third thing is that everytime i get to the home screen on a fresh boot, it would freeze and then it would say that pro launcher has to be restarted or something. Don't now if it's the theme or just my phone. I'm about to just do a fresh sbf and install everything over again if I can't fix the freezing at boot bc I like to charge my phone off at night and its annoying when it freezes every time u turn the phone back on. But again this is a fantastic theme.
For the brightness, i don't know why it's doing that, haven't heard of that problem before.
For the Market, the update may or may not fix your issue, i've had to do that before on both themed and unthemed versions.
For the LauncherPro issue, I would try reinstalling it. Two ways to do this. If you have an update.zip patch lying around, open it up with 7zip (don't extract, just open), remove whatever it is in there that the update is for, like my Swype, remove Swype.apk from the system/app folder. Open up my theme zip, then copy the Launcherpro.apk out of the system/app there an drop it into the system/app folder of the now blank update.zip. Drop this onto your SD card and install through recovery.
Or you could install the ROM, then Theme over the top (IE without wiping), and then any metamorph changes/patches you installed. That way you don't have to replace all widgets, settings, stuff like that.
Or you could just do like you said toward the end and sbf then do a full install.

See post 4, unless you mean not a glowing one... in that case, seek out the Metamorph Themes for Swype thread. Find the one you want and point me to it. Something small needs changed with the xml file for it to work.
