Rom Manager

I just flashed this rom and love it, except, how do i get the ROM Manager app back? I need it to install the gapps download.

looked through the comments.

regarding the blacklist thing coming up did you go into phone options and turn off blacklisting?
which has also been always turned off when i install the rom clean. I have never used the feature so im not sure how it works.

The rom doesn't mess with the baseband, and the themes definatley dont so maybe jut a glitch.

If you installed througn rom manger gapps is a choose to install with the rom. Ussually rom manager comes back after install with auto sync when the gapps are installed so youll have to download the rom and gapps off the website sourceryrom.com but only need to install the gapps.

Barnacle----I have noticed that it seems those that mention having problems with wifi or wired tether always seen to mention barnacle. When was that updated last , i dont know anything about it but it seems to be a common factor in problems i have seen regarding tethering.



Hey all we arent trying to make anyone look bad and hope thats not the case. All the developers use to put out updates more frequently its just they are more mature with the rom at this time we are babies so we have a lot of growing to do. Also the reason we are sticking to 1 phone. But we will be slowing down. We thing that we have a 100% stable rom at this time less than 10 days after initial release so we will do more of these incremental updates but our focus at this time is turning to themes and 2.0.

U don't need the app to install gapps u can download it from the link in the op or sourceryrom.com then just boot recovery and install using the install zip from sd option let me know I u need more help with this

As for the keyboards did you turn it on? in settings language and keyboards

Did you update wireless tether? the new one says you may get force closes or whatever so maybe that's it?

Wifi tether only works with Barnacle. Won't work with the Wireless Tether app. I tried to dl the updated Wireless Tether app from the market, but it would not install. Also I'm unable to uninstall the original Wireless Tether. Doesn't matter really at this point, I'm just using Barnacle.

Yeah we know its been updated a lot of Retheming but i looked at it and nothing obvious in the change so we will get to it .
As for uninstalling wifi tether so you can get that one.. goto magic settings /wizardry /additional apps scroll down to the uninstall wireless tether thats all there is to it

Its coming But not avaialble at this time.
We still suggest 1.0 users dont use the romupdate but we tried to make it work because we just had noway of stopping it. I will ask for RR to be first priority but may be available only on the website to start off with. Sorry .

I'm running Ubuntu, and did not use any drivers. I haven't tried it with Windows.

not sure but doesn't ubuntu automount card when plugged in? don't have dual boot handy so can't check but thought that may cause issue if card is mounted.

Where is the boot recovery? I have the gapps zip file on my sdcard i just don't know how to flash it.


Edit: I have the gmail, talk, and market apps in the drawer, but none of them work.
