The battery life for this rom is the best I've ever had on any rom

Same here, after more than 24 hs off charge still at 50%, my phone has never seen anything close. What can ROM developers actually do to improve battery life that much?

magic :)

theres several tweaks as well as the way cpu boost runs . some will get bad battery ligfe on sourcery with no reasoning why and some will get greater than they have also with little reasoning. just hard to tell.

Only thing I did see is that when I installed 1.2 it took away all the cool icons in the settings off of my twisted theme.

Thought I would try again to see if anyone else had this happen

The update installs a stock settings so u will lose those icons. All u have to then do is reflash ur theme and u have the update and ur icons

I tried that from the old zip from 1.1 and I did not get those up dates. I will try a fresh flash and see what happens

is it possible to include the gingerbread "screen off" animation in the new update? also can like the same animation can be reversed for the screen on? unless that is already made of course.

answer....no

This is a function of gingerbread and is not possible as far as anyone has said on froyo.

Im starting to think you did not wipe when installing this rom. If that is so than what you may have is 2 different roms mixed into one. its ussually ok to update a rom from itself without wiping but not always from another rom.

In the settings in call settings, not our settings the regular settings for android there is an extended list of options with the phone app we provide this is a lot more than is provided stock. and blacklist is listed in it.
This is not an on or off thing only a place you can add numbers to black list.

so If you didnt wipe coming from UD i would try wiping data and cache .

Sorry about the edit i didnt edit thing from his post i meant to choose quote adn i guess i chose edit.

I have always performed a wipe and factory restore before trying a new rom. Only time I don't do anything is when restoring from nadroid backup. The only rom I have no problem with, is the sapphire rom, they took a lot of the phone setting out, including the blacklist feature. I wish there was a way to just turn it off.
