Liking this ROM so far.
But apparently, it does not like Launcher PRO.
I have deleted and restored it multiple times from TIBackup and from the market and it just doesn't seem to work correctly. It will not read the backup settings I have and it will not save current settings either. I get "An error occurred while trying to restore/backup your settings. Please make sure the SD card is available." Also tried just loading the app from the market and restoring data only from TiBackup.

Also,
I have tried to install multiple .apk files manually and all of them fail.
Tried from the built in file manager and from Astro as well.
It will go through the install process then say Application NOT installed.
These are all known good .apk files.
I recovered back to LFY and verified that as well as verified my LP backup as well.

Any ideas?

LP works fine for me.
actually able to use it with all appearance tweaks maxed out.

think you had bad install.

I have had this happen MANY times and I have come to the conclusion that LP does not like TB ...


Try this (first make sure you have another launcher installed) uninstall/delete all the LP's you have. Then reboot. Go to the market and install LP > restore your LP settings FROM THE LP PREFERENCES! DO NOT USE TB. I am not sure why ... nut TB to restore LP has caused me nothing but problems.

huh, restored mine through TB but just app no data. then restored preferences from LP itself.
all apk not installing using any program though, think thats the key here. even if LP works still an inherent problem.

Just had to go through this.

Download that and place it on the root of sd card and then boot into clockwork and install zip from sd card. When you reboot, you should be showing v1.2 Then you can go ahead and update to v1.3 right away. Worked for me 5 min. ago.

Just one issue I am noticing.

When I apply a different theme, some bring me to Terminal Enulator screen, it shows DL'ing as an update.zip, it then re-boots and then I get E:Can't mount error, and I have to re-boot manually but then the theme isn't installed.

Does the update file reside temporarily or somewhere else where I can apply it manually?

It is really a pain...and seems NOT to work most times.

Otherwise, I really love this ROM.

if I am right you don't have to reboot, press menu then reset terminal and should bring you back to settings screen.
then try again.
usually works second time if this happens.
