hey, restoring the boot...thanks!

i see i missed it from the OP that it came with a "[FONT=&quot]600mhz running Cyanogen/sapphire modified kernel"[/FONT]

not really complaining but it seems like on all roms, if you get rid of the original kernel that you either can't find out exactly which kernel it came with or you can't find it. in this case, i can't find it so i'll need to do the restoring of the boot from the original (or with one of the other suggested methods).

love this rom (even more than UD). love the "magic" concept. wish more themes available but that will probably happen.

you can install the rom and gapps again without a wipe. will have to re-install the theme... if you have a nandroid, it will take less time than reloading the rom/gapps/theme after done charge your phone and your good to go

Edit - do a nandroid restore and choose advance options and restore boot only...that will load the original kernel (assuming the backup was done with the orignal kernel still on the phone).

Not sure if this has been covered, but are the Magic commands, scripts, etc persistant after reboot or do they need to be reapplied?

only thing that should have to be reapplied is compcache...
that i can think of...if yuo have something more specific in mind let us know.

if you are unable to download 1.3 goto the rom updte announcement thread.
if you are on 1.1 you cant install 1.3 without installing 1.2

if your on 1.2 but not able to install 1.3
go and reinstall 1.2 from that link than try romupdate again.
If that does work come to irc you can get to it through the webstie.

install to system : you make a folder on your sdcard called system anything you put in it will be installed to system when you press the install to system( this is really for people that have non signed apps)

host bloccks, camera sounds, stay through reboots.

Is there any reason why I would have lost my phone icon with 1.3 using urban theme. I can still use phone going through contacts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Cancel that after a second reboot it is there. All seems good now. Thank you team Sourcery.

install2system will install an app that's placed on your card in a system folder to the system on your phone..so yes that's persistent...cam sounds should be as well....i've flashed mine to all of the themes in sourcery tonight and cam sounds are still of...should only be turned back on if you 1) turn them on from settings or 2) install a full rom

Very important please read

if you are not using launcher 2 please fgo delete it in additional apps in the uninstall section.

this thing is like 5 megs and causes you to have memory problems within system. which causes romupdate not to download, themes to not install. etc.
