Greetings!!

I'm not new to Android...but new to these forums. I had a Droid Eris first and then I just got a Droid Bionic this past Saturday. I am super excited to finally have the "latest and greatest" so to speak. Can't wait to interact with other forum members and learning about everything "Droid."

I'm a newb here but not to forums. Message board junkie. Looks like a lot of good info here.

I've had my LG Verizon Vortex for about a year. I get along fine with the apps I know but need to optimize my Smart Phone experience. I'm pretty challenged with it when it comes to copying things to the SD card, themes, what apps I need to do more etc. I'll probably ask a lot of stupid questions but learn quick.

Hopefully I'll be able to use this place to learn enough and soon start helping others.

You are in stock recovery. You need to hit the hourglass to get to the recovery screen and select data reset. As it seems you did something wrong brother. I'm not familiar with your device but am with android. Resetting should wipe the memory and start you fresh.

Hello everyone. I'm Scott and i'm new around here. I did lurke for a little while when I had just got my phone. I have the Droid Razr and for a few weeks I would get this beeping while on a call and I read about it on here. I was glad to see I wasn't the only one. I decided to join the site now after doing a search on how to remove certain apps brought me back here. Looking foward to chatting with everyone!

Hello, I'm on my 2nd Droid, this time a Droid2, and I hate the thing. It has now gone absolutely nuts, calls people while supposedly asleep on a table which I am not even close to, then I click on contacts, it takes me to recent calls, then locks up. I've pulled the battery out 13 times since Sunday morning to completely restart it. It worked fine for about an hour yesterday, then went crazy again. Sometime the screen just "jumps" up and down, and none of the touch buttons at the bottom of the phone will work at all. I am ready to throw it out, but thought I would try this forum for a possible answer.
Thanks for listening!

Hey!

Droid user here looking for help with the Incredible. Nothing but issues but refuse to upgrade. I will be soon and will most likely need help picking out my next droid!

Welcome! That's a rare one. I had and still have my Droid2. Excellent device. Try a factory data reset!!! Should resolve that issue. If you have any apps pay attention to each one when redownloading them and maybe you'll get the problem as it occurs if its an app. The reset should do the trick...I didn't have that problem.. it was pretty sound. Of course i ran more custom roms thanks stock..lol peace!

My son has the incredible. Good device. If you notice wifi issues after the update try a reset. As for your next choice..Go play with the latest and pay attention to what you want and specs etc. I personally like the Razr and the Gnex. But its all on you. If you need a couple of days battery life the Razr maxx is doing well. Its all you. If you want a bunch of ROMs Gnex. But any phone can have flashing fun. And like I said make sure you are happy. Take your time all day at Verizon..lol Peace!

Do you by chance have the phone plugged in when it freaks out? if so it could be the charger. I had a charger at work and when I plugged min my phone it would go crazy trying to unlock it and open the emergency call option. It didn't do it at home do k knew it was the charger
