Hey!
Droid user here looking for help with the Incredible. Nothing but issues but refuse to upgrade. I will be soon and will most likely need help picking out my next droid!
Hello, I'm on my 2nd Droid, this time a Droid2, and I hate the thing. It has now gone absolutely nuts, calls people while supposedly asleep on a table which I am not even close to, then I click on contacts, it takes me to recent calls, then locks up. I've pulled the battery out 13 times since Sunday morning to completely restart it. It worked fine for about an hour yesterday, then went crazy again. Sometime the screen just "jumps" up and down, and none of the touch buttons at the bottom of the phone will work at all. I am ready to throw it out, but thought I would try this forum for a possible answer.
Thanks for listening!
Hello everyone. I'm Scott and i'm new around here. I did lurke for a little while when I had just got my phone. I have the Droid Razr and for a few weeks I would get this beeping while on a call and I read about it on here. I was glad to see I wasn't the only one. I decided to join the site now after doing a search on how to remove certain apps brought me back here. Looking foward to chatting with everyone!
Hey droiders! I've been around the phones a little bit now, I just got a moto citrus from a friend about a month ago, and it's SLOW!! texts don't alert all the time, or it'll show the little envelope thingy on the stat bar, but no green light.. and if I'm in the middle of a text and a notification comes in (i.e; text, gmail, or email...) the phone almost stops altogether and then the letters/words i made get all jumbled up..
I'm a car mechanic, and I just can't help but get my hand dirty (not so much with these tiny computer phones, but figuratively speaking...). I love learning what makes things tick. I've fixed phones as a hobby for about two years now, and I need to learn about the software lives of these things. I can do the hard parts replacement, like screens, shells, boards, cables... but I know NOTHING about the operations of these droids. So to make myself better able to repair more phones, I need to know everything I can about repairing theses things, and not just putting a broken phones board into a water damaged phones shell....
So any information that anyone has about how to do whatever to these incredible machines... PLEASE help a guy out.
Thanks!!

Hello everyone, russmcd here. Just upgraded to an HTC Rezound today from a Blackberry 8530 (an 8330 before that and a Palm Treo before that) so I am not new to "smart phones" but new to the Droid world in a sense. I am a Network Consultant by trade and have been setting these (and iPhones) up for a few years now, and finally my time came due. I am somewhat familiar with them but want to ramp up my learning curve, so here I am.
Did a lot of research and along with buddy who is a Training Manager at Verizon decided on the Rezound. Been playing with it all afternoon while watching football (GO PATRIOTS!!!) Seems like a good phone, and could be a nice toy during down time.
So here I am, I hope I can be a benefit to other users at some point.
Other hobbies outside of work are working on and driving my 1965 Corvair Convertible (it'll be my avatar when I set it up) , playing Softball and enjoying a quality glass of Whiskey.
Glad to be here....

I think I am going to enjoy this Ride!

Hello everyone.
I am an IT manager for a small company that has been a "Blackberry Only" house ever since they appeared on the scene. Unfortunately, Blackberry has been losing favor with our end users since the advent of the iPhone and all of the flavors of Android devices have appeared, and we have been replacing all of our Blackberries with Androids or iPhones as our contracts come up. Unfortunately, the one feature that made Blackberries so popular, push email, appears to be far less stable on iPhones and Android devices, and so it has been a learning curve to try to figure out what works best for our business environment.
