My old Moto A840 flip phone was really doing all I expected from a phone but was starting to have a few issues. Replaced it with a Verizon Razor Maxx and I will need a lot of help to get going: Very basic stuff that must be boringly trivial for most on this site. Sorry.

Welcome to Droid Forums!! Don't be afraid to ask those questions, we don't mind

Hi all, I am Sid from India. Couple of weeks back I imported a Droid Bionic and started to visit the varios forums about flashing and getting it going on Reliance CDMA. I have flashed to the ICS update and rooted. Still have a few niggles - have posted queries, hope I get some help.

I should say that I have learnt a lot - not the internals or the software, but how to flash etc, niggles that come along with flashing, especially when you are outside the US with a non-Verizon CDMA sim, and few tips that would solve them and get going.

Thanks for the various communities.

Hello Everybody! My name is Preston, and I've actually had an android phone for almost 3 years now. I first started off with the Samsung Fascinate, and now I have a Droid Razr. I wanted the white one so bad but they were out at the time. I used to work at Best Buy back in the day and been interested in new phones/updates/anything phone or technology related. Actually I turned my whole family droid, dad-Razr, mom-Razr Maxx, Middle Brothere-Razr Maxx, Little Brother-Bionic.

I have actually been to this site before if I had issues to see what other people say/recommend but I decided, hey, why not just join? So here I am.

Well hi there, I'm ritalinvampire. I'm on my second droid phone, a Motorola Droid 4, recently upgraded from my original droid (may it rest in peace) and excited to learn what this new ridiculously advanced piece of tech has to offer!:icon_eek:

my introduction

Hey all,

I've been using a droid now for a few years, first the OG droid, and now the VZ Galaxy Nexus. I joined the site a long time ago and have been meaning to get involved, but recently I was sort of pushed. I think I might have bricked the unbrickable og droid. Follow my posts for mored details.

Greetings everyone!

My first smartphone was a Blackberry Storm. I loved it and to begin with thought I would never leave the Blackberry world. Then in an effort to save some money I went from VZW to Virgin Mobile and picked up the LG Optimus V and said hello Android OS where have you been all my life?!! After a few months of poor service with Virgin Mobile I went back to Verizon (lost my unlimited data in that whole process :icon_evil:) and picked up the Motorola Bionic.

That is what brings me here. I have been flashing roms and trying to keep up with all the ICS leaks that have been rolling out. I discovered SamuriHL's House of Bionic (I'm on the 242 path of no return :)) and noticed he does a lot of his posting here so I thought I would join the fun here.

Thanks for making us feel welcome!

Jeff
