I am currently on my second droid, but new to the droid forum. My first droid was the Moto Droid, by current phone is the Droid 2 Global. What a difference. I live in northeast Ohio, travel extensively, and enjoy the ability to have everything from my contacts, my travel plans, my music and something to read all in one place. I am looking forward to perusing the forums to see what tricks I can pick up. I am also looking for some answers as I migrate to my new phone.

Future Droid user

I am a devoted PDA user - 2 or 3 HPs at first and an Axim for the past several years - and vowed not to switch to a smartphone until they were at least comparable. Well, they've come a long ways but truth is, there's NO WHERE to get information, updates, or fixes for my wonderful Axim any more and I miss the conversations I had with fellow PDA devotees. So I guess it's time. I just want to find something I can be as happy with as my PDA so I'm here to research and compare.

Hello Everyone. Hailing from the Northwest...started out with the D1, passed that to the wife, got the D-inc, passed that to the sis-n-law, now settled on the DX! Great forum, seems like a lot of nice friendly folks here. Just started to tinker with "rooting" a month ago...and have not looked back since. Well be needing lots of help, and this looks like the right place to start.

Im Yolie and I have a Droid X... I love my Droid X but there are so many things I do not know how to use or apps I should use. I could use all the help I can
I have been reading as much as possible to learn.. Still trying to understand rooting, whether or not I need lookout/avg, orb, thethering etc. So I found the perfect forum. Feel free to join in and ask questions, but do search before you start a new thread. With so many, odds are someone has posted a similar question that has been answered. Make yourself at home. Just got my Pro yesterday. Although I'm excited to finally be rid of my Blackberry, I hate the learning curve that comes with a new phone.

My two immediate questions:
1. Where do I store Quickoffice documents;
2. Is there an app that's similar to MemoPad in BB?

Just started out with My Droid X First week of March.. Tried out the Leaked GB and fell in love with it.. Lost my Root doing it .. then SBF'd back to factory.. Flashed to GB rooted and now I am GB Rooted Deodexed Gingercomb Juiced.. What would be a proper donation for a Theme?
