Hi! IM new here .. Im form Buenos Aires Argentina :) I have a motorola backflip , and recently want to upgrade , IM looking for a moto, droid 2 global .. but have some doubts .. and hope I can find answers here :)

Welcome Vlad!!

The droid 2 global is certainly a good phone but it depends on what you are looking for. At this point it has been out for a while so I would look at some more up to date things. But that is just MY opinion and it is important that no matter what you get, just make sure it is good for you and thats what counts!!

Thanks for the welcome! I watched both events yesterday. VERY cool stuff coming out in a few weeks. Just hoping this stupid Pre holds on just a little while longer.

I can't wait to get my hands on the Razr & Nexus. Actually, I want them both;)

I hear ya there. You and I are stuck in a similiar spot with many others. Sometimes when it comes to Android devices I feel more like I am after Pokemon (not have to but want to catch/have them all) and not shopping for a new phone/tablet!!

Greetings from the upper left hand corner of the contiguous United States. Yes the same place that vampires and werewolves roam. I am a FOBUG, Fat, Old, Bald, ugly, guy. I am not tech savey and will ask lots of newby questions. I don't even know what kind of droid I have but tried to describe it. What I need is someone to explain how to get my name on the front of my phone. This phone belongs to.....

My name's Rachael. I'm currently in possession of a Droid 2, but it doesn't work. At all. I was hoping I could find some help with that here, though. I've been making googly eyes with the Bionic at work, and so far, that's the one that is really calling my name.

Welcome to the forums:) The bionic is great dispite a couple of minor, issues which will be fixed very, very shortly.

Welcome Rachel! I'm also running a D2 but, as the Bionic is a newer and decent handset,...You may want to see some other devices coming very soon...I am going to be going for the new Nexus Prime...But, the Bionic has its appeal...Check the reviews and specs and see which is the best for your needs...In all reality, if the nexus or razor aren't here soon, I just might go for something else...But I wouldn't say the bionic is not one option I may take...All in time...I have been nothing but happy with my D2...and to lose my physical keyboard may somewhat be a loss...I'm sure the larger screens on the formentioned devices won't make my texting and inputs too hard to get used to....So....what is your D2 Not doing? I have a hobbie and somewhat of a lil business in repairing Devices....If you can get into your bootloader, and can get your battery to get enough juice, we can get you back running just like out of box in most cases....
