Well just see if root is needed in your opinion..If so, I am sure the Petes D3 root method will work!...I use it on my D2 ...Painless...let me know if or when your ready? I will set a time aside to guide you..peace!

hey my name is will. i have a droid 1. and i found this forum cause my screen stopped working. like the swipe to unlock screen i cant get past it. i found some suggestions but they are for the screen not working but you have to go through settings and i cant get there, for factory reset i believe. but that doesnt sound like it would work anyways. ive come to the conclusion that i will probably need to replace the phone. Crappy!~!!

I'm new to the forums and just want to introduce myself. I've been hooked on Android since the first Motorola Droid came out and now I am using the Droid X2.

I also develop apps, for about a year now. I do it professionally and for fun. I am also the lead developer on the RoboBrain SDK, a new game development SDK for Android.
