Down to two, charge vs thunderbolt help!

What is wrong with the LG Revolution? Better battery life than the TB, better form factor than the charge. Almost as good a screen as the Charge and way better than HTC's. Plus it ships rooted.

IMO the best compromise.

Besides apps. Are there any "tweeks" that might help performance and batterie life that are must haves?

To help battery life
- set screen brightness to 40% or lower, auto brightness off
- wifi, auto sync and blue tooth off when not using it
- set services to update or sync like every 3hours instead of every 30mins
- set screen timeout to 30 secs
- don't use live wallpapers
- turn screen animations off
