I remember seeing this a couple times already, but has anyone had a problem with the new update and not being able to shift after hitting nos? Its happening for me after hitting nos and then shifting from 3rd to 4th. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I was jsut about to post that exact same question. Earlier tonight I was running a 7.90x with my lvl 8 Zonda and now I can't even finish lower than 8.x. Same problem, can't shift after NOS and get stuick in 3rd. Frustrating.

Maybe it's an intentional bug so we can't bully the races.

Although that would suck, I doubt it was intentional. It is really ticking me off though. I have put so much time into playing this damn game and setting up my cars and now I have to like tipple tap on the shift button after using nos and everytime its a late shift. It is really aggrivating.

Does anyone know how to revert back to the old version or know of a fix for this???

I am trying to finish this app off and move onto the next. Any pointers on best settings for the Hennessey Venom GT.

Also, when is the best time to shift and use Nitro

I played with the multi-touch option. At first, I had it off, and ran into the shift issue. I cut it back on, and i haven't had the shift issue since. Maybe that will help you guys out.

Excellent! Fixed the problem for me. I was getting really p*ssed trying to tune a lvl 7 Audi R8 last night and missing shifts.

...now, back to getting down to 8.2x in the 1/4 mile...:icon_evil:

I have my Venom set up as follows;
NOs 2.00s at 150%
Final drive 2.524
1st gear 1.541
2nd gear1.24
3rd gear 1.078
4th dear 0.964
5th gear 0.917
6th gear 0.870
Nox is use immeadiately after the shift from 1st to 2nd gear

This has given me a best 1/2 mile time of 10.949. However, I know this is not the best set up as i have seen times in the 10.93x. Anyone have any better settings?

Anybody have a tune for this? I only get beat by Novitec's. I know this car can go faster.

I don't run 1/2 mile races but I can give you a great tune for the 1/4.

NOS - 90% (I know it looks low but tire spin is a problem with this car)

Final - 1.750
1st - 3.410
2nd - 3.080
3rd - 2.700
4th- 2.380
5th - 2.100
6th - 1.840

Full rev launch (shift into 2nd when you are getting into the 70mph range)and don't hit the nitro until you are going into 3rd gear then finish out with perfect shifts. I have pulled an 8.54x with this tune.

Well, I havet seen too many posts on the SSC Ultimate Aero, more on the Veyron and Venom than anything, so I figured I would post my stats and settings for my Aero and see what you guys think.

Holy cow, that's a helluva E.T.!!! Good job. I was addicted to the SSC when I first started playing because of its blinding top end MPH, now the Henny and Veyron has spoiled me with their 1/4 mile E.T's lol.

I have nothing to trade for a tune like that, but I would love to have it. I think I raced you before too, I got beat by a 7.31 Veyron today.

I have a 7.34 tuned Veyron at the moment, and I can't seem to get anything else out of it, with my current tune. I post on Honda-tech.com, and there's a guy on there with a 7.28 @ 222 Veyron tune! He also says there's a guy on another forum that has a 7.0 tuned Henny! I think it's a glitch, though.

saw a guy with a veyron who did the 1/2 mile in 5 seconds! i have tweaked mine to 7.3ish and seen some 7.2 times but FIVE SECONDS!! HTF did he do that???
