Droid 1 3.0.1 bugs.

Yeah, I didn't see those options in my SPR... I can just install clockwork from the market right and it'll replace SPR fine and everything right?
You need Rom Manager... it's an app. At the top of the main page is a tab to "flash clockworkMod Recovery"... hit it , hit cdma, wait a sec, it'll say successful... boot into recovery... pretty easy.. and you don't have to rename anything and the rom, kernal, theme, etc doesn't even need to be on the root.. just any folder ya want.. or the root, whichever...

Sounds good, i'll make the switch, redownload UD 3.0.1 and do this whole entire thing again... Third time's the charm right? *sigh*

http://www.droidforums.net/forum/ac...an-install-restore-using-titanium-backup.html check out and read this tut also.. even if you don't have the paid version of Tibu you can do it manually one app at a time so it just takes a little longer.. system data is a major cause of issues like the one's you're experiencing... so do what the tut says and that should help a lot...

I don't like Titainium Backup... I liked how Market remebered my apps... But UD 3.0.1 reflash, and all my apps were forgotten :/

Titanium is just an app backer upper.. lol.. it doens't install your apps unless you tell it to (if I'm correct).. your apps are synced with Google along with your contacts and wifi settings... so try settings/accounts and sync/ google/enable auto sync and check all three if they aren't all three checked.. hit menu, start sync... once it's done, check market/downloads (my apps) and see if they are starting their dl's.... this is why TiBU is a nice app...

I know how the market works... SOmehow my history was erased when I reflashed to UD3.0

Wiped everything you said, reinstalled a fresh 3.0.1, same issues. I'm going back to UD 2.5 if I can get SPR to work again... *sigh*

Only problem I've had is I get a fc everytime I try to open the volume menu in the sound settings.... don't know if it is a problem with the rom or me tho....
Wiped everything 3 times from RZR.
Anyone else having this issue?

I just tested it and mine works fine.... not sure why some phones have issues that others don't.... when flashed properly that is.....

Anyone else getting lots of random reboots? Might be a deal breaker for me...

Are you getting a full reboot (back to the M" logo)?

Mine reboots every so often, but only back to the boot screen (UD logo). One day it was stuck there for a good 30 minutes till I reverted back to 3.0.0. Not sure what's going on.........

Same issue with the boot here. Mine was a clean / wiped 3.0.1 install. It was working terrific and then all of a sudden is slowed way down, so I rebooted. After rebooting it just kept cycling through the new UD boot animation. When back to 3.0 and all was fine (other than the things that 3.0.1 fixed). Tried flashing to 3.0.1 from 3.0 and back to the loop again. What the heck?

The original dl of 3.0.1 had an issue with the bootanimation bootlooping on a reboot. Change the BA or redownload the full rom from sticky and that should be fixed....

I could be entirely wrong here, but I think most people confused a super extensively long boot time as a boot loop. When I flashed 3.0.1, it took a LONG time to finally boot up, but it wasn't a boot loop. I'm talking somewhere around 10 mins to boot up. I confirmed this again by turning off my D1 and booting it up again. Sure enough, I had to wait a long time for it to boot up again, but it finally did.

For those having this "boot loop" issue, try giving your phone 10-15 minutes to boot up. I think the default UD boot animation just takes a while for the phone to boot up, because after mine finally booted up, I changed the boot animation to the droid eye or whatever and now I'm getting a normal boot up time.

Play a jam!
