Droid 1 cant start recovery mode

Ok well you don't have to get upset. Don't root then. If you can't get into recovery there is nothing we can do for you.

You can try saving everything and flashing a fullfile sbf and then retry rooting.

Teddy - I used "MC1_A855_1282081087_Recovery-Only_SPRecovery_0.99.3b.sbf" (if there is a better one please let me know) and it didnt work as in, i still cant get into recovery mode. I am trying to root, but cant get the process started because i cannot enter recovery mode.

Judging from the file he's using, yes he pretty much must be using that guide.

I take it your phone will boot normally, yes? If so, _maybe_ a factory data reset will fix it, but I doubt it. Maybe boot your phone normally a couple of times and then try the process again. Your are booting into bootloader to flash the file and then 'catching the boot' when RSD lite is finished, right? If you are truly following that guide to a 't' then it you will be the first of whom will have this problem.

If it really doesn't work after double checking and trying again, then what guidot says is true, there's really nothing we can help you with short of flashing a full .sbf file onto your phone. But if you feel you need to go that route, post back here FIRST so one of us can guide you to the latest one.

and yes as long as it is semi-safe, id like to flash a full .sbf file...would you be able to point me in the direction of the most updated guide on how to do that?

hi i messed something up! i was stuck in bootcycle, then i tried to flash back to rsdlite, then now i am stuck at bootloader 2c.7c. code corrupt.

what do i do? i want to get back to the newest firmware stock!!!
