Droid Bionic heading towards Verizon

I'm disappointed in this phone. At&ts version is better imo. Like someone else said, I am going to see who brings a phone with 1gb of ram.

Wow, after loooking at the Webtop, the laptop dock, and everything else.. the Atrix absolutely destroys the Bionic :icon_evil:

What stinks is it says this Droid Bionic has 512Mb of RAM while the Motorola Atrix has 1 gig of RAM. Why does At&t always get the better deal than Verizon? Just ain't fair man.

There may be some confusion folks and im trying see what is actually going on. Im trying to find out if the specs I was given was on verizons version of the atrix. Im not going to lie though she will NOT give me any information about unanounced devices.

Perhaps she slipped up and gave me the spec on the vzw version of the atrix?

I don't know. Maybe after CES this whole thing will reveal itself. Stayed tuned though!!!

...Also: Dont be confused by the phone saying "with Google" that it isn't running Blur. This def seems to just be an updated form of Blur for higher end devices 4g.

I'm moreso scared of these 2011 phones missing actual CAMERA buttons on the side..

I'm due for my NE2 in July, and SO FAR its looking like a close call between the Bionic and the LG Optimus Black. Both very sexy phones. But, the Android world could turn on its head by July, so who knows.

And if I understand correctly, and the Bionic won't be out till Q2, then all the worry about internal memory is a little premature. Cell phone manufacturers have been know to change specs last minute.

But like most here, I'm good with 512mb...1GB would just be icing on the cake. I'm mostly concerned about a locked bootloader and the processor.

That 2GHz of processing power better remove any hint of a skip or lag in anything the device does...ever. Thats my 1 pet peeve with Moto phones, they lag the worst of any manufacturer. Heck, I remember back to the light grey Moto 720something flip phone I had in like 2003, that thing had a solid 4 second delay between any new screen. The Droid's aren't nearly that bad, but you can definitely tell a difference between a D1/D2 and the incredible or fascinate, even OCed and ROMed. They're just not snappy and fluid like other manufacturers.

I'd rather have the Atrix, so if there is a Verizon version I'm sold.

The Atrix is definitely the better phone between the two Motorola phones. VZW needs to get with it.

Why would there be a Verizon version of the Atrix when Verizon is getting the Droid Bionic? They are wayyyy too similar to have both, aren't they?

512MB of ram is pretty low for me even the thunderbolt is supposed to have more at 768MB.
Well today is CES maybe we will get some more info thrown our way.

If it stays at 512 and is not available until Q2 I'll probably go with LG. Too bad, this was my dream phone. The Black and Revolution look pretty cool -- can't wait for the specs to be revealed later today....

I wouldnt say they are too similar, i think the Atrix is in a class of its own at this point, same processor, but twice the ram and the laptop dock.
