Will it ever get released or not? The idiots advertise something they can't get released. It'll probably have to take a miracle from God in heaven to get it.

I'm confused... what release date for the Targa (Current Bionic) was officially announced and then pushed back? So far they have not failed to meet any of their projections. So why all the talk of all these "delays"? You can't knock Moto or VZW for failing to meet a date that someone random Troll fabricated.
I have a Charge and while it is fairly thin and light, it is nowhere near the thinness of really thin phones such as Samsung Galaxy S2, iphone, or dinc.
The Charge is roughly the same size as the other two LTE phones.

I agree, but the iPhone and Galaxy are not 4G LTE phones. Even so, the iPhone is .37" thick and the Charge is .46". That's pretty good for a 4G LTE phone! Compare that to a Thunderbolt 4g phone at .56". Want a real shock, compare the weights.

Yeah, I'm not complaining. It is a pretty slick phone. Is is perfect: no, but I'm very happy with it. Even better when you convert the crappy rfs filesystem to ext4.
On page 4 of this fcc document (passed to me by Arkbird via droid life) it shows an lte antennae. What I find interesting is that it's a combo lte/cdma antennae that, to my untrained eye, is not very big. I am going to stick with my original sentiment of a small size increase (similar to the one for the Sprint GSII) probably being enough to add an lte radio. dancedroid

Well if that's the case maybe it's a 2nd gen antenna? I can't access the documents to see it. But if it's a 2nd gen antenna and that's why there are delays, that kinda illustrates the original point that if it's going to have LTE it's going to be delayed a bit.

Yes this is what the Thunderbolt can do right now.
And another interesting thing is that the blue tooth and wifi components share the same radio so while they can be used at the same time, it's not quite simultaneous. The FCC even went as far as saying if you're doing a VoIP call through wifi, that their is a 20 ms delay as the phone switches between the wifi and bluetooth when you speak.

The Thunderbolt can do that now, but so can every other LTE phone.
What the Thunderbolt does is simultaneous voice & 3G, which the Bionic and other phones won't be able to do. Thunderbolt can do 1x (voice) + 3G, or voice + LTE. Other LTE phones can only do voice + LTE.
