Droid Bionic Update is Available for Everyone!

still no update for me here in Norfolk Va.

***when i got home i switched to wifi and then the update was available to me.

I am still getting that same message. It isn't saying "Your device is up to date! No update is necessary at this time." It is saying "Check for update is not available" ....this is getting frustrating.

Try a reboot and/or battery pull and then see if you can get the update.

I rebooted, pulled the battery and stood on my head.... but still the same thing :crying:

this phone sucks

This phone is barely faster than my droid x was. 4 g is not 10 times faster like they claim. the upd
ate made the slow ass camera better but my wifes droid charge still takes better pictures.lets face it we got screwed on this phone especially with motorola knowing the razor was coming so soon with much better specs. i had a thunderbolt outclock me. this is my last motorola. cant wait to dump this piece of crap.

My 4G is 20 times faster than 3G...that is when i get a connection. 3G = 0.9mbs and 4G = 19.5 mbs. Both download.

Got Update with Cheesecake

If you're rooted and have the cheesecake app, you can change to a different server and get the update. I was getting the same system up to date until I changed the server with that app and currently downloading the update after switching servers.

Will see what happens with it tomorrow and if there really is any improvement.

Updates are still coming out, got one around 8AM. 12/16/11 mid Atlantic area. (Bionic)
