Droid Bionic ? ?

Ya, I feel ya. My og droid is showing its age. I'm trying to root it for cyanogen, but I can't seem to get it done. Superoneclick says I'm rooted, but no apps can run that need root.

I really want a keyboard, but I may jump on the bionic because my ne2 will probably expire before droid3 hits.

It would be hilarious if they required the 4g plan in order to get the phone. How messed up would that be? Most people wont be covered yet.

Does anyone know how this will work out? If a 4G phone is offered in an area where service isn't available, will you have to pay for 4G service? Enquiring minds want to know.
