I was just wondering what the best home for the droid was. Also please tell me if they are free or how much they are. I am non rooted if that means anything

If you mean home replacements I would suggest ADW or LauncherPro. Both free in the market, though LP has a paid version with more features.

Adw and Lp are the big two. Try out both and see what you like. I personally love Lp plus (paid version)

Zeam.

Small and Simple.

A lot (not all) of the good features in ADW/LP.

I agree. The only thing that I am missing from LP is the ability to make the home screens hold 5 rows and the app drawer 6 x 8.

Being able to back up the homescreen in LP is nice, but I can Titanium Backup that as well.

Other than that, Zeam is just as good as LP, so far, in the few days I have used it.

I would like to see the transparent background for the app drawer in L/P - like in ADW

ADW seems to be a really great home screen.

However, if you want the ability to design your entire home screen from scratch, I would recommend Sweeterhome.

You can make the icons any size, make multiple drawers, have one button control more than one widget. You can basically have 10 screens worth of info all on one screen.

Im a huge fan of GDE because i like the options you get with it, it isnt free its about 3-5$ personally i think its worth it :)

Any thoughts about OpenHome? I purchased it from the market but it seemed to fc a lot. Is this an OK home replacement? I tried LP but could not figure out how to enable/use it. Not rooted and new to home replacement apps.
