As everyone pointed out there is no true way to answer this.
1)If the person wants to unlock all the device can do the Moto Droid is the way to go.
2)If the person likes video I think the epic wins on that?
3)best overall specs Droid inced/Droid X
4)best net? Evo if you have a 4g area
The list can go on and on. For the most part I love to mess around with my phone a lot. As such the Moto Droid is my pick. Iv played with the EVO/DroidX and they just did not do it for me. You might want to point out if you want to limit it to stock only, is the person going to root it?
Every phone has its shortcomings, if you ask me the droid is the king just because it is by far the most well rounded phone if you are willing to tinker around with it.
Edit: I might as well ask this here, I am going to be forced into a Epic or EVO at some point. I love to have custom rom's and to mess around with my phone a lot. When I am forced to move from my moto droid (So so Sad) what one do you guys think would fit me better.
I do no that I wont have everything I want on them, but no very little about them. What I use the most on my droid is
1)free wifi tether
2)change the look via custom roms(I understand this will go out the window)
3)overclock
4)Root is a must I no the evo has that, does the epic?(i have at least 10 apps that use root)
