New line or upgrade...special intro price on WireFly.com - $200 for the Razr Maxx HD!!! Not kidding! I almost ordered but it took too long on the phone and I'm at work. I had an emergency at work and had to hang up. They do free shipping but I would loose my unlimited data (half expected, most seem to be getting around this) and I would need to pay Verizon a stupid $30 activation fee. The phone is supposed to ship in 2-3 days. Yes, this is the Maxx HD, not the old Maxx - that's like $50.
Is this confirmed? I don't understand with "such old specs" it can basically score 2x as the Droid RAZR and 50% higher than the S3 which has 2 GB RAM (maybe its the TouchWiz).
The LG Optimus G which is supposed to be the beast of all phones is only at 7500, given that it is Quad core (the new chip) and 2 GB RAM, I Figured the discrepancy would be much higher?
Just got out of Verizon. Its amazing! At first I thought the camera was slow, I turned the shutter noise on and realized it was instant. The display is awesome! Chrome was great and maps was crazy fast and accurate. 4g signal was stoner than the s3. It feels like sex.

I more reviews like this to convince me to spend $800 on a killer screen. 1.5 processor moot point because phones run at 300 95% of the time. And what's really holding me back is lousy 4g, for that matter 3g speeds here in southern California.
Ask me at 8pm PST what my thumbs are thumping on.
I am still really tempted to get this phone, the only two things holding me back are having to pay retail ($800?) to keep my unlimited data and $20 data discount, and wanting to test out the Note 2. I'm not sure how I feel about the 5.5" screen of the Note 2, but I'd hate myself for buying this phone now on impulse and potentially regretting not getting the Note 2 instead.
Ill be getting one next week after I get back from camping. If I didn't want to do the special foxhat charging thing I would have threw my wallet at them today.

Anyone on here have 20/15 vision like me? My wife's original maxx drives me nuts with the pentile screen, I can see the little dots. I was curious if the HD eliminated that. If not I might have to wait for the HTC DLx.

Well guys, I just got back to the office after picking up the MAXX HD and all I can say is WOW! I am SOOOOOO glad I traded in the GS3 for the Razr MAXX HD. First 45 min I've had it, I'm LOVING this phone. It is exactly want I have wanted; beautiful screen, fast, feels unbelievably comfortable and sturdy. For me, I don't think there is a better all around phone at the moment. I'll update with some usage later on today.
