Droid Razr Maxx HD waiting lounge.

I ordered from the wirefly web site (not over the phone) and it let me pick and option to keep my existing plan. It's on my confirmation email so it looks like it stuck. This was also only $200 for the Maxx HD. It's an intro special price - I'm not sure how long they will offer it. They have the Razr M for $50 and the regular Razr HD for $150. Yeah, prices are good for upgrades too. I'm upgrading from a Droid X. The only downside really is it will not ship until probably Monday. The shipping is free and they use FedEx so that's cool.

GOT IT! Love it so far. Haven't done a whole lot yet. Love the weight and size, industrial feel. Only gripe is no screen left of home. Takes you to settings instead. I picked up the VZW screen protectors. They are very interesting, a definite matte finish as opposed to the gloss ones i had for my DX. After using my wife's old Incredible for most of the week, so great to have a hefty phone. I also picked up verizons basic case/holster combo as none of the heavy duty ones are out. It's very secure in the case and even more so in the holster than my DX was. They added a lip to the top which helps keep it in place. Also it can be inserted top down or top up.

Side note: The included usb cord is freaking short.

Probably because everyone is enjoying it's PURE AWESOMENESS!! LOL! Seriously though, I am absolutely loving mine. I have tried to use it a little more than normal and have EVERYTHING turned on (GPS, etc.) and have been getting great battery life, as expected.

Thankfully, my company sells micro-hdmi and micro-usb cables and we import them by the thousands at next to nothing prices so I have plenty of choices and lengths to choose from. Another thing I noticed late last night while trying to test the grafx and battery was while playing fruit ninja the response time was damn near telepathic. It was extremely spot on as opposed the response I got from the GS3; the GS3 lagged my "swipes" while playing that game.

Picked up the same case and I like it. Not too big but a very secure feeling. I'm not a holster guy so that thing will stay in the box.

I've got a 25% discount b/c my father in law works for Verizon and we are on their family plan so I paid a little less. Supposedly the matte finish is supposed to help with glare and visibility in the sunlight? Not sure about that yet, but it definitely feels nice when working the screen (I use the swype keyboard). I used the similar case/holster and on my DX for the past few years. Kept breaking the belt clips so eventually just used the case and pocket carried, but I am going to attemp to holster carry again with the Maxx HD. Case adds just enough security for me. Will possibly get a kraken AMS by trident if they release it for the HD line.

Yeah, anti glare according to the rep. The only ones they had too. We'll see, jury is still out. They are pleasant regarding tactile feeling and swiping though. I imagine most ones you can buy online will be gloss.

This thing takes great pics. What's everyone complaining about. You have have to change the resolution to 8MP in settings!!! This was in very low lighting inside a car.

Interesting....where in settings did you find an option for the MP setting? I can't find one. Thanks.
