Haha! Well its actually a temporary replacement after my Droid Incredible took a swim in a pool this summer :-O sadly I had to downgrade to my sister's old eris. Now I'm due for an upgrade but I'm waiting till all the good stuff comes out. Right now I've got my eye on the Razr HD, but I'm also waiting to see what Nexus option(s?) will be available.
Needles to say I'm really ready to ditch this thing. Going from 2.3.4 to 2.1 has been a pain on the butt, and the lackluster hardware on the eris has made me swear to never go back once I upgrade.
I really am tempted to upgrade now but I know I'll be better off waiting till the holidays as sales will need on and verizon might run a deal to get more data. I'll be sad when they take away my unlimited but it's worth a shot. If verizon doesn't offer something good then my contract is up in January and I'll look for a used device io ebay

I say battery life will be right behind the Maxx just as others reported. Yeah it wasn't reported on LTE but some of these people on XDA was getting up to 10hrs of on screen time, LTE will hurt that but not that much.

LTE will hurt. My tbolt with the 2750 battery could get a day and a half on 3g but only a day on LTE. The battery is over year old now, but I still get over a day on 3g and can't get though a day on LTE unless I am barely on it.
I understand it has improved with newer processors, but we still have like 8 different radios in these things. Until 10 years from now when we shut down all the old towers, battery life will suffer. Hopefully these towers are upgradable and phones compatible so they don't have to do this process again in 3 years with some other technology.

The thing is none of us will know the answers to all these questions until we get it in hand and put it to real world use. Use at different levels and places exposes potential issues which help software techs kick out fixes.

but I had to say that... for ME... I needed to express my discontent for moto.. I've been loyal to moto... and I'm honestly worried.. if I don't like the note 2 .. what else is there... until whomever puts out whatever in a month lmaoINCREMENTAL

And again I'm almost certain the Note 2s battery will be a beast. I got the extended in my Bionic 2700mah and its hard to kill it and I swear I hardly see a difference in 4G battery life and 3G but that's just me, maybe its my area.
