droid razr speaker

may be its because i only searched for "speaker not working after ICS upgrade"...There are tons of hits on google for the exact issue.
As suggested above, i applied pressure on the back of the phone where the speaker is and that made it work...since then i dropped the phone once - speaker stopped working, then applied pressure and it worked again. took a little longer this time. Wondering if should return to costco for an exchange.

Yes, this has been a known problem for some since the beginning. For some reason something gets disconnected by the speaker on some phones. You could go back to costco or verizon and they will send you a replacement.

Add me to the list of users who have experienced this....mine would work intermittently after pressing on the back. Replacement received today; sure hope the refurb they sent (for my 6 month old phone) works! Sigh. QA anyone?!

I suppose if I put a huge box around my phone, perhaps it could withstand some use, but I bought this because of the (kevlar, gorilla glass, battery life, and) THIN PROFILE...If I wanted a brick, I'd get a different phone, dammit!

New phone's speaker died after I restored everything properly. Grrrr.
Went back to old phone (which I thankfully hadn't shipped back yet) and everything has worked perfectly.....mostly. Voice navigation voice not working for google maps, but I'm now thinking it's software or ICS related.

I have had mine for 4 days and it has started doing the same. If i plug in headphones it is fine....the remove it seems to work for a while. then i use headphones again..it stops working. I am hoping it is because the jack is new and it hopefully gets better..i dont want a refurbished phone after just paying for a brand new one. Anyone else have this issue with theirs when they got it?
