If I already have ICS .211 installed can I skip step 1 and just go to step 2?

Can I just follow the video you have on the 1.7 utility install, only skip step 1?

Yes start with option 2 but if you are stock 211 now, you may want to install the 215 leak first. It does improve ICS performance.

Ok i just updated to .215 and would like to root. Ive downloaded Utility 1.8 what do yuns mean by "extract to root of C; drive", in other words, where do i extract tha Utility? Im on ICS .215. Please help

I downloaded tha Utility on my phone, im gonna move it to my pc. Do i need to make a folder on my desktop and extract it in it?

Yes, you can put a folder on your desktop and extract it directly into that folder.

Ok i did #2 but its saying cannot connect to daemon. What's going on?

Its also saying 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I have Debugging on and in camera mode

Oh gee rockstar, I'm stuck. Sydman or Matty may have ideas why you are having problems. In the meantime, read through the 1.8 and 1.81 threads to see if anyone had a similar problem (although I know you are probably already doing that).

Tried hooking to a different usb port? Proper drivers installed? Computer recognizing device qhen set as mass storage? Usb debugginf enabled? Figured id go thru the whole checklist one more time
