Ordered mine on August 8th online. Today I had an unrelated issue and had to call Customer Support just for GP's I asked the rep how my order was progressing. He told me my X shipped today and I'll see it tomorrow.
I haven't received an email to support his claim as yet, my online status hasn't changed but I can only hope this guy's on the up and up. I live in SD and can speak from experience that the demand here is quite low, this is Blackberry country.
I do love my D1, so I'm not really in a huge hurry, and I was content with the August 25th, all my accessories are on order and none have arrived.
I'll drop a line tomorrow with any updates.
