Got e-mail 2day 08/11/2010
Will receive my DX 2mrrw 08/12/2010
I am an upgrade from The Bx.
Purchased online bill 2 my account
I personally believe u get the phone earlier
if you are good-looking.

UPDATE UPDATE!!!!
Received the long anticipated droid today and it is all
that i thought it would be. tryin to get the swing of things as this is my
1st android phone.
The size to me is perfect. The screen clarity and responsiveness is
truly unbelievable. Speaker is v. low and i hope there is a fix for that
in the wings.
So much to learn and 4 those who are still waiting, i don't think you
will be disappointed. The anticipation enhanced my level of excitement
once it actually arrived.

No fair! I'm in the bx also but ordered in store on 8/4 my delivery date was 8/19 just got shipping notification today it was shipped from west chester Pa, it said my dx will get here on 8/16. why not tomorrow or saturday?:icon_evil: I also have 2day!

Me too! I ordered the 4th online. Mine was shipped today from Westchester, PA and I have to wait until Monday, 8/16. What every happened to next day shipping?
Ordered my DX on Aug 7th and I was told by the verizon store rep that it would ship by the 23rd and the site said 25th.. I called verizon CS and they are still saying the 25th but i think that is just what they say to everyone right now. I really hope I get lucky and it comes in soon or atleast faster than expected, like it is for others in this forum. I can't wait to unload my horrible BB storm 1 and get the X. I was back and forth between the X and the incredible, hopefully i made a good choice..

I ordered mine on Saturday, August 7, and was quoted August 25 for my ship date. I've been calling verizon customer service to check the status, since I'm so ready to have my phone like everyone else. When I called yesterday, I was told that the phone would be shipped tomorrow (8/13), which would be a week sooner than expected! Fingers crossed!
Where are you from? I'm from U.S. East and from all I've been reading..there's way too much demand here.

Ordered mine on August 8th online. Today I had an unrelated issue and had to call Customer Support just for GP's I asked the rep how my order was progressing. He told me my X shipped today and I'll see it tomorrow.
I haven't received an email to support his claim as yet, my online status hasn't changed but I can only hope this guy's on the up and up. I live in SD and can speak from experience that the demand here is quite low, this is Blackberry country.
I do love my D1, so I'm not really in a huge hurry, and I was content with the August 25th, all my accessories are on order and none have arrived.
I'll drop a line tomorrow with any updates.
After the FedEx truck blew past my place of business, I placed a courtesy call to Big Red. The young lady I spoke to told me August 15th ship date arriving August 16th.
So if you get a rep tell you that you can expect your X to show up without an email confirmation, it's a pretty good chance you're just getting stroked and they're just telling you what you want to hear.
My D1 had a makeover today, and I patiently await the X

that really sucks, i decided i wanted a droid x yesterday and i called walmart and they had 3 in stock so i went the next morning and got mine
That's cool, I never considered WalMart since I'll never try that zoo scene

If you bought the phone from the Verizon Store, that order number will not work with the online verizon check order page. Kind of ridiculous right? I thought so too. :icon_evil: I should have bought online. Too many advantages to buying online rather than buying in store.

Just like i mentioned in a post before The CS said August 24th, the in store guy told me the average shipping time of about a week. My Droid X is confirmed and is going to be shipped within the average 8-10 days. ordered mine on august 6th, its august 13th, got me email from [email protected], gave me a ups tracking number, called ups told them to hold it for pickup on monday, wich will be exactly 10 days from the order, btw it would be 8 days if it landed in the middle of the week and not on a saturday since ups doesnt ship saturdays, i would estimate with the growing demand that it would be closer to the 10 days to get them now hope this helps you guys get a real understanding of when you could expect your droid. just keep following the average statistics of when people are getting theres. and believe me waiting 10 days is like waiting a year for your phone but its better then the 17-20 the cs tell you just to be safe.
