I keep getting notifications about some of the threads I had subscribed to.

I don't want email notifications sent to me...this is what I have done.

1. Deleted subscription to all threads.
2. Changed my settings to NOT receive notifications
3. Asked Droidforums.net to STOP notifications
4. Changed my email address.

NOTHING HAS WORKED. I AM STILL GETTING EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS.

How do I delete my profile? It is so annoying to keep receiving notifications.

No you don't need to delete your profile. I'm gonna tag this for the admins right now. Earlier VBulleting was havin some issues.

I'm going to assume that in the default thread subscription pane you chose 'do not subscribe" and you scrolled all the way down and hit "save changes"?

I'm not being condescending I just want to make sure ALL the bases are covered before the admins start troubleshooting.

That's really strange...I can't figure out how you would still get notifications if you changed your email in the system? It just doesn't seem possible.

just my 2 cents

it took 2 days for me to stop getting notifications after i saved Do not subcribed.

It is still sending me notifications to my original email address. I have double checked to see if my new email address was changed. It has...this is why it is driving me nuts. I received an email from an admin to my original address yesterday after I changed my email address...

CKiller...how many bases do I have to cover? Not trying to be condescending either but, even if I screwed up the "do not subscribe", I have done three other things to stop notifications.

Do you have two accounts, one under a different email address?

because a user yesterday had the EXACT same problem and when I advised her (what I just asked ) it fixed the problem.

So I have to ask the "dumb" questions.

Just as an FYI.

Earlier today I was getting "Java Notices" AND my AntiVirus Warning was popping up when visitng the site saying there was a virus (happened 3 times in a row).

I also an getting page errors, not sure whats causing it, but here are the details:

I only have one account. I am guessing you are the one who emailed me yesterday asking what my user name was. Maybe it would be easier just to delete the account. The only reason why I am even asking on how to delete my account is so I can start a new account and use a different email address.

I don't think that will be neccessary...PM me with your old and new email and I will check the system to make sure that it's been replaced correctly.

This problem has been fixed.

Yes, that was me. I just sent you another email a few minutes ago.. I will remove your account, but we would really like to get this fixed if there is a problem. Please forward the notifications to my email address (listed in the email).

Thanks, Dan

samething happened to me! it was so annoying

Thanks! is there a way to set it to automatically go to none or do i always have to do it manually?
Yes. In User CP, Under Settings & Options, go to Edit Options and under Messaging & Notification, change the default thread subscription mode to "No email notification."
