[ROM] Eclipse ICS for droid 4

I noticed the oc files were gone to. I was having a hard time flashing the files. Every time i tried and would reboot it would freeze up the boot animation and then i would have to start over again.

oc patches back up, more added and some were proofed. re-wrote most norm patches. new blur cam patch, new motohd cam, new blur clock without the ugly green icon, vzw hotspot patch, new hd widgets and launcher, etc

well i didnt have one b4 that a new one... so is 1380... 1375 is old.... im running 1370 rt now and its nice... upped the voltage to 1400 @ the max clock all the other clocks are undervolted
1375 is working fine for me. When I was running the UVs I didn't notice any battery savings, nor did I notice any detriment. I'll try 1370 tomorrow.

I know these quadrant scores really don't mean much but I try to test each OC several times and I use the mean (average) as the yardstick to determine improvements. Even though I got 3506 today, it may have been an outlier but that's the first time passing 3500 so I'm stoked. Hopefully I can hit about 3500 on a consistent basis, but even if it's less it's still running smooth and I have no complaints.

Broke the 3500 barrier!

Stats: 1370 OC, speedscript v4, pegasusq governor, noop scheduler.

Pegasusq is an ondemand governor that allows hotpluging (turning off second core when not need). Not all governors support hotplugging.

Prior to this I was using the 1320 OC, with speedscript V4, hotplugx, and noop. I consistently was getting between 3320-3450.

EDIT: on XDA they tested all the governors on the Galaxy S3 and determined that smartassv2 has the highest benchmarks. Myfishbear, does smartassv2, as well as the other governors included in this rom, support hotplugging?

Now my goal is 3600 so I'll be playing with different governors and schedulers. I keep trying 1400 and over OCs but it always causes my phone to freeze.

Can you explain how you did this in English please lol

When I was running 1.2.5b with 1320lv is was getting scores between 3300-3400 now I'm running 1.2.5cmotohybrid with 1320oc no lv and can't crack the 2900 mark.. does what little bit of blur that remains really slow it down that much?

I doubt it, the test should be looking at the settings of the kernel, governor, ram, memory management, etc. It doesn't look at what you're running, so even though the hybrid will have a few more services running there shouldn't be a difference.

I'll answer tomorrow, I've had too much fun stuff to consume tonight :)

EDIT: OK, I'm ready to give it a shot. First you have to be on Eclipse. Download all the OC scripts and the speed script to you external sd card. Power off, reboot, then go into safestrap (press the menu button when the safestrap screen appears. Go to the second choice (install from sd card?), then choose external, then find the OC file you want to try (start with 1200 then move up, try them all because each phone is different). Install it. Now install the speedscript (install from sd card, external, then find it, then install). Speedscript must be installed AFTER you install the OC everytime you flash an OC. Now reboot.

Download and install Setcpu from the market (or No Frills CPU Control). Choose a governor (hotplugx is good and so is pegasuq). Check start on boot. Reboot the phone.

With this process you can try all the OC scripts and governors to find the one which best suits your phone. I use Quadrant Standard (it's in the market) to test for improvements. You must do the test several times because in some conditions you can get a rlow or high score, so the more you test you can get a more accurate average score to use to see which OC and governor work best.
