[ROM] Eclipse ICS for droid 4

Could somebody once again clarify the differences between the regular and the hyrbrid versions. I know it's been answered before because I vaguely remember skimming over it a couple months ago, but now can't fully remember, and can't seem to find the post with the explanation. I think I may remember it being stated that the hybrid version just left a lot of VZWs stuff on, but can't remember if that was all.

If that is the case...how much blur/vzw stock apps and features does the regular ROM retain, if any? I ask because there are a few of those apps I use, but the hyrbid, in contrast, left a bit too much on for what I needed. Either way, great ROM, and we all really appreciate the continuing updates. We aren't usually accustomed to that kind of treatment, being Motorola customers and all.

i personally use the regular rom and it has everything i need. if you miss any apps thats what the hybrid is for. if it has too much you can always delete apps with tib

I recently have had issues with GPS taking a few minutes to load. It hangs at "searching for GPS..." for those minutes. Sometimes, killing the maps app and restarting it works.

Any other ideas?

So for some reason, when I download or save a MMS or something, I get double the file... And by that I mean, it saves 1 into sdcard and one into sdcard-ext. Was this caused by the sdshuffle patch? Because, I can't install ANY apps at all, it says I have .90MB space left, I can't update any apps due to me 'insufficient storage available'. I did however restore a bunch of backed up apps with Titanium with np.

yeah it seems to be the fix
bty
-released v4 hd widgets (runs faster and more stable)
-released 1.3.3 hybrid
-released new smart actions patch
-fixed 1.3.3 voice search

are you using safestrap 3?

I also just installed ss3 on a fresh d4. I have no data at first boot. When I get to the setup screen, I get "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped". Then, when I press next to activate, it never connects. After a few minutes it just says no connection could be made.

Both stock and aokp have data almost instantly after activation, bit eclipse has nothing... has anyone solved this?

Yes I am. It was actually working fine the first time I flashed 1.3.2 onto SS3. And then it was being weird like the ROM wasn't closing any old processes that started. So I wiped everything, installed SS3.05, and flashed the ROM again. But this time I used the SD shuffle patch. Because, I hate when stuff that said it was goin to the SD card, didn't go to the SD card, but the internal memory.

wipe data and factory reset b4 you install, it needs a clean, formated partition

i didnt make that patch but you should make a bigger partition 4 it... i still like 2.11 better. im going to wait till ss3 isnt beta and i may use it. my theory is if it ant broke dont fix it.

did you manually format osh, data, and system

Yep, I did a factory reset, wiped data, cache and dalvik cache before and after. Its just weird. Sounds like a bad flash, or download. But usually bad downloads don't flash...so just weird
