Android OS is an unbridled success in the mobile market. Even with the iPhone continuing to sell well and Apple overcoming those iPhone 4 antenna critics, Google’s operating system has been able to overtake all competitors in 2010 including contenders such as Apple and Research In Motion that had years-long head starts. Worst of all for Apple, Android’s success will likely only continue in the coming months and years as more vendors and consumers jump on the Android bandwagon. But Google’s success in the mobile market didn’t come easily. The company was forced to work diligently, follow the right strategies and get to what people really wanted in order for it enjoy the success it does today. That’s why it’s important to take a look back at what has made Android OS so successful.
