And from articles I read Verizon may actually allow users to pay for 3g prices and only get 3g speeds on a 4g device even if your in a 4g area. Something that was posted in reference to sprint and the evo issue.

For now i shall read into this x2 since I won't have 4g in my home state for another 1 to 2 years

The Merge was supposedly the Incredible with a keyboard... the Thunderbolt is an Evo for Verizon... not the same thing.

got my DX the day it came out and ive been obsessed with it since then...ima stay rockin my DX till about sept/oct...hopefully by then all the kinks will be worked out on 4G/lte and their fones dancedroid
