i'm a female droid owner. i can't say i ever thought it was "masculine".
i like it because its "square"... i'm over the rounded edges that are supposed to be "futuristic" or whatever.
i was sort of thinking of getting the iphone but i dont get any at&t service at my house. now that i got the droid even if i got at&t at my house i'd never ever get the iphone. my boyfriend is jealous of the capabilities i have with my phone.

but i really don't see how a phone can be masculine or feminine. this reminds me of car forums when guys go nuts when there's a female user.

this is so true... i just assumed by your avatar (i spy intercooler) that you were a dude. the most popular person on a car forum i frequent is a girl, and i think it's partially for that reason..

I think you spy license plate. The intercooler is hiding under the hood scoop where it belongs

another female droid here, and i love my droid. was waiting anxiously for iPhone to come to Vzw [i'm also a mac ] but after i got my droid i could not care less. i love the customization and am reading up on rooting...a little nervous to try it...gimme a couple of months. i love what you can do and the possibilities you can do...the iPhone doesn't give you those options. so in that sense, yes the droid is sexier.

I agree that the phone is a bit masculine, but nothing that a cute case and a cute wallpaper didn't fix for me!

Totally agree with this! I am female,very girly girl and love my Droid. Already have several cute cases and though I have some very girly wallpaper I currently have my avatar picture as my background on my droid with pink and purple icons.

You can use your own photos for these, so that one is made from one of my paintings.
The gelskin type is thicker and really shiny compared to the other types. It looks more like it's apart of the phone because of that. I don't like how the front cover looks on the front of the droid, so I just use the back part. My last gelskin wasn't from the same company, but it was the exact same quality. There are other sellers on ebay too that are much less expensive and look just as good, you just don't get to use your own photo.

I think of my Droid as a cute little R2D2 (isn't that what the logo looks like?). It's my first phone with a full keyboard and with email and web capability. I'm enjoying figuring out its mysterious capabilities. It's great to have this forum to resolve questions.

My wife HATES my DROID!! She tells me that everytime she picks it up for any reason. Last night, after a message and a "DROOOID!" alert tone, she said " that's it! either get rid of that Droid, or I leave!"...............................................I'm going to miss her..
