Yes Hello , here is the lowdown on tethering..at this time.:bday2:If you root , and I am assuming u are on a D2, u currently have two choices--1-- Root and stay on 2.2=Froyo, if you do this you can tether w. all tether apps, w/ no problems. Ex: Wireless Tether,Barnicle,.\\ Option 2: You can root and go to 2.3=Gingerbread***Here isyour catch updated system means updated security, meaning that Verizon's servers now pick up on some of these apps due to the 3G connection being disturbed which causes an automatic message that staes if u continue u will just be charged the $30 /month for 3G. Now I know Wireless Tether will set it off , but had no trouble w/ Barnicle,(due to that Barnicle just masks itself and blend s into 3G instead of stopping the connection. Hope that helps:greendroid:
