First off, sorry for not reading this thread, I tried to search but it was pretty hard to narrow down what I am looking for...

Does the wireless tether work with this rom? This is the most important thing to me since my job requires me to have internet access in case of an emergency.

Am I blind or is the actual Froyo file gone from the front page?

checking that now, I am going to reinstall task killer and see if perhaps it had a bug in it

IM using advance task manager and OMG does this baby auto load the programs..So def keep a eye on your running background programs....
My battery life is awesome running 2.2 tho,, Ill have no complaints at all there, I came from TC's redrum 1.3 and was getting 24hrs on a charge..

No problems here running without a TK....Never needed one.

What Kernel you running? I have one of those phone that wont allow me to go over 1.1 w/o a constant rebooting.. Ive seen over time with all droids being slightly different and QC being what it is, some phones are just awesome,, and some are decent.
But still beats the piss out of Nexus One in quadrant.. LOL>...

Still wondering about the Cell standby question.. mine has a lot of signal loss, approx 50% in 12hrs yesterday...Today its mostly been on charger...

Just last night when you charged it is when i had its issue with over heating and didnt fully charge?
Hmmmm... Enable your setting in SetCpu for scaling?

PLEASE HELP!

I went to install 2.2 and i cleared data and cache twice and then used SPRecovery and advanced restore to install the ROM.. then i rebooted, it started fine but when it got to the tutorial/welcome screen i touched the android to begin(as you have to) and then hit skip to skip the tutorial, it went right back to the "touch android to begin" screen..so this time i walked though the tutorial,and when i got to the last page it said press next and sign in to your google account, so i pressed next and it went right back to the "touch android to begin" screen... any ideas?

you could have hit on the problem, I just checked the scaling and nope, I had reinstalled setcpu and I did not set the scaling. I set it now and I will see if that fixes it. Thanks!

I would go back into recovery and reflash the rom.

Did you allow the install first?
You are using sprecovery and not clockworkmod right?
