Yeah, but I only pseudo-upgraded to the D2. I went through 5 faulty D1s, then they finally sent me a D2. The D2 might be a tad snappier, but not much. It really didn't shine until GingerBlur was on it too. Froyo was terrible. But this touchscreen is killing me. I'd rather have a working D1 than this issue on my D2.

Yeah didn't hear good things about D2 since the beginning. My D1 works great as another wifi device running CM7:hail:

Just throwin my two cents in on that comment......I had a droid 1 up untill a few months ago, now I use droid2...it is a big improvement over my droid1 not only in overall speed but it's less buggy. I had little functionality issues on my og droid with certain apps that drove me nuts, my d2 hasn't had most of those problems. Granted I haven't tried to put a rom on it yet but it is rooted and I'll likely put cm7 on it once I get my nexus and use it as my music, podcast, audio book player for work.
