Moto releases phone so fast it seems like just a few days between the first detail leaked out and the actual launch. I wish it seemed that way for the Nexus..

Definitely agree... you can never please everyone, all the time. They're just doing what it takes to gain market share and increase their EPS and stock price.

Yep....Until we get Dell-style "made to order" people won't truly be happy. Can't use this board as a gauge because it's not indicative of the market, but I think there might actually be a market for people willing to pay more for top-of-the-line across the board. What we are dealing with is constant trade-offs to keep phones under a certain contract-price of $200-$300. The Nexus without an SD card (and only 32gigs of storage) is almost mind-boggling, and most likely has to do with a deliberate play from Google to push cloud services.

The other big scam is, despite universal mini-usb charging, the new phones almost always require power adapters. That's just blatant milking of the consumer.
