That is awesome and even with lte we talking all day hard use. AHHH yes feel even better about passing on the maxx hd . How bout you 94lt.

Dont need it in fact rather than adding to the bulk I would rather get a spare battery charger. Because the way this phone is looking you can go all day with no concern of your phone dying. Then at night while you sleep plug it in and start the day with a nice all day battery all day again. If you happen to be on an international flight 2 batteries will definitely keep you moving.

2.5hrs to charge.. looks like I'll be leaving it charging all night or opt for the external battery charger w spare battery

12+ hours heavy use is impressive and more than enough for me

Not to hate on the maxx but this is why having a removable battery is a plus. If you are on an international flight or in a situation where you cant get to charge your phone because you are pulling a 2 day schedule you can just swap batteries and keep moving.

It adds extra thickness because you have to room to make brackets and you can't contour the shape as much. Im sure there are other reasons too:)

Yes it is awesome, nothing like having all that power and big screen and still being able to go all day.

foxkat talked about batteries once and basically it's this.

if the battery is removable it must them be safe to handle, Lion batteries aren't hard they are in fact soft, therefor if they are removable they must have a hard plastic case around them. when you encase them and then put them in a phone you have to build the phone around the battery, which adds to thickness etc. However when you make the battery non removable you do not have to build the phone around the battery as the battery does not need near as much protection, since you won't be handling it. Therefore you can have the battery take up the entire inside of the phne and you can build the battery around the phone, this is why the razr maxx and razr are so thin.

honestly if you do alot of traveling you are better of getting one of those battery packs that you plug into your phone... one the size of a razr that is all batter would give you at least two charges, that's better than carrying two extra batteries any day of the week, at least in my opinion.

I really really like the note 2.... but I'm still on the fence about which one I want to get. the note 2 or the maxx HD

I hear you but the note 2 is already big enough as it is. I personally don't want to make it bulkier especially since it will have a case on it.

I have an external battery charger... got it a while back and hardly ever use it... it's inconvenient to carry it around + a wire with it.... an extra battery is far more portable and is so slim u can put it anywhere.. not to mention the ability to charge it separately from the phone

my bionic lasts me all day with the extended battery so a note 2 with 700+mah (approx) will have no trouble lasting me all day and a spare battery will do the trick on trips

What if your plane breaks down like in that Flight of the Phoenix movie? You'll wish you had that external unit when you can't play angry birds space ed.

thats what the extra battery is for duh lol.... my external battery charger probably wouldn't last as long as the extra battery.... its not like I have a 10,000 mah unit.. those things are huge

if the note 2 didn't have a removable battery it could be even thinner... though it would have to be made from something other than plastic

has anyone noticed all the fanboys that use to bash apple for not having removable batteries now praise it? lol

I understand if u get a maxx at least u have battery bragging rights but if u get the regular version u have none lol

Lol good point, I've always hated it and still do. I thank its stupid to not give the user options just like locked boot loaders not being unlockable, not cool lol
