Yeah future proof arguments are pretty bad. Everyone said last year dual core with 1gb processor were future prep but even they are becoming limited. And ifs only been a year. I don't think anything is future proof in this world really. Remember the first iPhone announcement he said this it was 5 years ahead of its time. Maybe technically but using an iPhone 1 now would be pretty crappy (its been 5 years)
In any event that's why I considered it a slap in the face with the RAZR HD, releasing that phone with last years internal specs (dual core and 1gb ram)

don't tell that to an moto fanboy lol the HD would've been impressive last year... or even if it was released with the samsung s3 FIVE-SIX MONTHS AGO... but that phone is far behind the times... the HD is only impressive today if you only compare it to other motos lol

Well the Bionic was the first dual core LTE device on verizon that is a little over a year old which I have and there isn't anything that I found it can't do and I don't see that coming up anytime soon to be honest and Moto already has this in the line up to receive even jelly bean so that's gonna keep it going that much longer. So it may raise the question why am I upgrading.

Well I'm bored with it and want a bigger screen and the N2 just looks way to good to pass up. I have the first dual core and it runs very well still. If I get one of the first quad cores with that extra ram, I can't see it not easily lasting if a person wants to. A Nexus phone can go 2yrs easily and the N2s specs are just as good as the new Nexus coming out.

I made the mistake of going and looking at the N2 at tmobile......now I want it even more!!! That thing is a beast and is much bigger than I thought. Screen looks great, and its smoother than any phone I've had before. I can't wait to have one of my own. Damn you Verizon for making me wait!!!!

I was ready to do the penny trick... but buying a sticker to cover a sticker seems more cost effective lol

I read somewhere that it is under the enamel and cannot be scratched off without doing damage to the device

Figures that is why they needed more time for branding then the other carriers. So tempted to jump ship but have 4 phones so would have to buy 4 new ones which sucks......

That seems like something big red would do. You know if they spent as much time making sure customers get timely updates and coming up with plans that is more customer friendly as they do trying to find ways to put their branding on the phone that is hard to remove, I would think they could bring in more customers than what they have now. But hey they the big dog so they feel they have th leverage to make all the rules. Last time this happen a carrier came and punched the big dogs in the mouth. Even though vzw bought out that carrier there continued practice of ticking off the customers will burn them if a carrier like alltel was to return. Maybe Google should buy the company formed by the t-mobile Metro Pcs merger.

Well I stopped in at T-Mobile and wow, the screen is awesome, the phone was fast and smooth and looked really good I thought. Can't wait for stupid Verizon's to release, I want it now.

Anyways the only downfall to the Note 2s size for me is after u have it I wouldn't wanna go back to anything smaller. My bionic looks like a iPhone size now lol.

Yeah i asked the rep to let me see how it would fit in my pockets. I had no issues as far as with the phone being naked. The key thing is to stay away from bulky cases or get a holster.

I agree. When I put one in my pants pocket is wasn't any more noticeable than my DroidX. Perhaps that is because the Note is so thin. I was also surprised how well it fit into my shirt pocket. If I get a case I will only get something very thin and light.
