You must not know htc very well, they have always done that. That is HTC's mo phone with awesome screen tech, camera, and decent radios, with small battery and a resource hogging skin.
Really, did you actually expect Verizon (or any carrier) to subsidize a $700 phone on a basic voice only cell plan? No carrier lets you buy and activate a smartphone without a data plan. From the conversation, I completely agree with the sales rep, unless you want her to always remember to turn off mobile data IF she left the house (which I assume she does at least a few times), it would rack up your monthly bill enormously.
Well I won't claim it as an original idea--nor will I deny hope its chance, but If I leave they won't have to worry about subsidizing anything for me--and they won't need to worry about how much they'll be getting from my family plan either.
As far as paying full price PC, Certainly that is an option, but not one I relish--probably spend less overall that way though. Good thought and thanks for the positive response.
Wtf! I would love to go to a store like bestbuy and buy a phone like I would a pc and just put in my account information like you would with home internet and be good to go
I'm tempted to purchase the note 2 when it comes out. But my main concern is the battery life. Everyone says it suppose to have a really good batterylife that should last all day, but how is this possible? The phone has a 5.5 inch screen
