Galaxy Note 2 waiting Lounge

I'm tempted to purchase the note 2 when it comes out. But my main concern is the battery life. Everyone says it suppose to have a really good batterylife that should last all day, but how is this possible? The phone has a 5.5 inch screen

It is a huge phone so it has room for a huge battery 3100mah while still remaining very thin. The only thing the market with a bigger battery is the razr maxx hd with a 3300mah battery but the note 2 has a removable battery so will probably see 5000-6000mah extended batteries for it

3100 battery!

DNA has 2020

iPhone5 1440

I had the Bionic with a 2750 battery and I would last all day no problem. I have the nexus now and can barley last 6 hours with the 2050. So I really don't know what to expect with the note 2. I read a few reviews and everyone says the battery is excellent so will see.

Take it from someone who have the phone you do not need to worry about battery life. It is an all day phone for sure.

Glad to hear. I will get this phone for sure

you have enough time to try it out along with the dna and maxx hd. Like I always emphasize, the phone that is best for me may not be for you and vise verse. Try them out and decide what you want for you. I found the phone that I want for me and Im loving it. If the dna is what you love get that. Whatever you choose make sure you are satisfied with the purchase.

The only other phone I would consider is the maxx hd. If the note can last me the day I will most likely keep it

It looks good on video but the screen and audio are going to have to be insanely good for me to even consider the dna. If the battery doesn't last all day i will have to pass

Maybe HTC has some kind of super battery saving features and the inside of the battery has some crazy high capacity truck up its sleeve where 2020mAh in this battery is more like a current 4040mAn battery... or the screen is super efficient and even though it's 440poo and 1080p it takes less power than an oled... Maybe...

Maybe....?

We can all dream.

non removable 2020 mah battery is far too small for my daily use... but even if it did have a larger battery the DNA still wasn't my top 2 choices... I'm still in favor of the note 2 and the gs3 behind it

The small non removable battery and not having the ability to expand the memory killed that phone.

and some of their past phones had super battery draining features lol... I think the DNA is fine for people that use their phone minimally

Yeah but why advertise a phone with that screen and music ability to be used minimally. That would be like me letting you test drive a Ferrari that only has a quart of gas in it and a gas station 60 miles away.

god I hate sense and touchwiz and the first thing I will do is use another launcher until I can rom the effing S out of these phones

honestly I use my phone more for games videos and music... I do A LOT of internet research but I'm always playing a game or watching something online.... the DNA is really really nice looking... but that battery.... ick... and the lack of SD card.. that really really is upsetting... those two alone are basically making the decision for me.

maybe a case with a built in SD card slot where the case plugs into the charging port with a passthrough? I'm sure that would be possible with USB OTG.

the wireless charging is pretty cool. I'd love to see how well it works... and how far the charger can charge... do I have to lay it on a pad... that kind of stuff... because just dropping my phone on the desk to let it charge wouldn't be that bad.
