So what is the total cost of the phone after taxes and Verizons fees? I do not want to take more money into Verizon than what I have to. The more I see the more I want to buy the more my wife gets upset with me

I paid $330 with a $50 "New every 2" with tax and that $30 "up yours" fee Verizon charges.

That depends on if you're buying it as an upgrade or off contract, and what your state's sales tax is. :)

What's everyone doing with their old phone? I'm tempted to collect insurance (random restarts and radio issues) on mine and get a new phone to sell, but that doesn't seem very honest :saint:. Plus, that seems like something they would track considering I JUST ordered a new phone. Should I just sell as is? I think I might be able to get $100-$150 for a used Rezound...

the insurance is through asurion... I'd say do it. Its not as if they'll be losing money.

I think if I kept it, it would just collect dust and be a total waste. I'll probably just try to sell as high as I can.
Insurance only covers you if the phone was lost, damaged, or stolen, the extended warranty is what covers manufacturer defects (such as random restarts and radio issues). Last I heard they just send you a replacement, they don't give you the cash value.

As for the old phone, I'm keeping it as a backup as well. If my new phone gets lost or needs to be repaired, I'll switch over to my Thunderbolt until I get my phone back. I'd rather keep my Thunderbolt than sell it for $75.

What is a good app to use for tethering. Foxfi does not work on devices with JB. And is there a way to get flash to work on the note 2 without rooting it

Tis uses puffin on her razr m that may work for us. That is a browser that flash works in
