Galaxy Note 2 waiting Lounge

So what is the total cost of the phone after taxes and Verizons fees? I do not want to take more money into Verizon than what I have to. The more I see the more I want to buy the more my wife gets upset with me

I paid 757.xx full retail price for my pre order and no option of shipping.

I am going to wait until tomorrow to activate it. I will charge it tonight and then activate tomorrow. Still a nice device, makes my S3 look tiny!

Cant wait for your initial review! Mine's due here tomorrow anytime up til 7pm! Grrrr......

Can anyone that has received their Verizon Note 2 confirm that this Samsung widget at the top is missing? On the demo I played with at best buy it was missing so just wanted to confirm its missing on the officially released phones.

For those who don't know it will be called Digital Clock in the widgets. I saw there was a dual one but not the single one like shown in the screen shot.

If by a long time you mean the past year then sure.

I've been with VZN for at least 10-12 yrs and I've ALWAYS paid a fee to activate a new phone, even with the old "New Every Two" upgrade discount options. Even if the phone I upgraded-to was FREE, I still always paid an "activation fee." Of course the amount has changed over time. I think it went from $15 to $20 and now it's $30, but I've ALWAYS paid a fee to activate a new and/or upgraded phone.

I on the other hand have not paid an activation fee for at least my last 10 devices on my account. I calmly explain to them that I have been a customer since October 23rd 1999 and I shouldn't have to pay activation and they have dismissed the charges every time.

Now I don't pay upgrade fees either....I now buy the device outright to keep the unlimited data. Between my wife and I we use around 8-10 GB per month (sometimes more) so its beneficial to just purchase outright.

There's a difference between an activation fee and the $30 upgrade fee we're talking about. Activation fees are only supposed to be for new customers. The $30 upgrade fee for existing customers started in April of this year. Up until then, there was no upgrade fee, and I had never seen an activation fee from Verizon corporate stores or online orders for existing customers. I've never even been asked to pay an activation fee with new phones or upgrades.
