I got mine around 1:30pm on Thursday, had about 45% battery, and killed it by 11pm with pretty moderate usage getting it set up, apps downloaded, texting and a couple of quick 10 min phone calls. Put it on the charger over night, and pulled it off the charger around 9:30 am, continued playing with it to finalize setting it up and learn some of the new features. Sent/received around 600 texts, about an hour and 20 minutes of talking on the phone, half of that via bluetooth. About 3 minutes of web browsing, took 6 pictures with it, did have it hooked up to my laptop to push ringtones, pictures and some app data onto it. Finally went into the orange on the battery around 3:30 am, sent a few more texts and then set it on the charger until 10am this morning. So far I have sent/received 92 texts, and talked on the phone for about an hour and 27 minutes (that was a one call phone call) and I am at 88%. So, I guess time will tell.

Update: 5:03 Pm PDT, Phone has been off the charger since 10 am yesterday. At 15% battery left. 1day 7hours 16min. Downloaded about 15 more apps all via 4g. 1 Hour and 57 min on the phone, 437 texts sent/received. A lot of time still playing with it and getting settings tweaked. Not bad!

Thanks I'll give it a shot.
What exactly does "Awake" mean on that graph? Surely the phone is always "awake" so it can receive calls and texts, so what's the difference?

I downloaded Wakelock Detector; does anyone know what it means? By far my largest app usage is K9 Mail with 14m on time and 892 wakelocks? Second is Facebook with 2m 44 seconds and 269 wakelocks. Total awake time for the phone is 4h 38m of which 1h 1m is screentime. So seems like the phone was on quite a bit.

But are these numbers normal??

K9 if you have it pulling mail will show plenty of wake locks.. Check the settings maybe expand the time in between.. Facebook I like to sync manually when I go into app.. Are you syncing short time?

Noted 2x~4 beta

Got K9 mail set up to poll once an hour. Doesn't really seem like that often. There is an IDLE setting (not sure what that is) at 24 minutes. Changed facebook now to never sync; so it will only do it manually when going into the app.

I've not used K9 in the longest.. But seems ok from what you have set.. Definitely keep an eye and keep us posted if continues...

Here's something interesting... I've been using Snapdragon Battery Guru, and consequently, have had to leave location services on. After installing Wake Lock, it appears as though those two things, in combination, are what is keeping my phone awake the most...
